Hello! this is Lucy. I’m an animation artist based in Leicester and a member/logo designer of Animated Women UK.
I’ve been making short films, music videos, intros, trailers and (occasionally) virtual reality with Toon Boom Harmony, Motion and ProCreate.
From an early age I’ve been drawing and fascinated with the artistry behind motion pictures. Those passions were augmented with computers, subsequently at De Montfort University where I received a Bachelors degree in Animation Design (2007-2010) and a Masters in Design Innovation (2010-2012).

I then formed Creative Cat FX – with support from Seed Creativity, Spring into Action, somewhereto_ and the Prince’s Trust – to write and produce beautiful work.

Character work mostly, whether human, animal, alien, robot, god, or food. I'll make you care about them, root for them, hope they arrive home safely etc
My talents have taken me to the Houses of Parliament, MPC, the Mill, BBC Television Centre and DNEG
In early 2017 I participated in the Achieve programme, a course on strategic career management for women working in VFX and animation; over the years I have built a strong support network of fellow creatives.
Give me a project I believe in, I will go the extra mile to solve problems, independently or as part of a team, to realise a vision. For what exactly? Check out some examples below and here
